The Active Group of Companies traces its roots to a family venture, founded through the visionary partnership of husband-and-wife architects Antonio A. Turalba, Sr. and Maria Cristina V. Turalba in 1970.

The company’s inaugural identity features the distinctive A-C-T prefix, derived from the first names and surname of its founders serving as a symbol of its unique heritage.
As one of the first Architect-entrepreneur teams in the country, architects Antonio and Cristina Turalba were the first to offer a design and build service. The duo pioneered a one-stop-shop for homeowners to build their dream home. From these humble beginnings, it has evolved into a formidable real estate conglomerate with a full suite of products and services we know today.
